#21 Old Westbury Estate Sale

This sale has been set up and priced since August however, the decision to hold the sale happened on Tuesday of this week! Unfortunately there was no time for a private pre-sale. Once again, this estate sale differs greatly from my Ladue sale of this past weekend in that this estate sale has a tremendous amount of small collectible items! The heirs removed most of the furniture, but left tons of collectibles and small things to sell. The home itself is charming and quite large. It was a family home for 9 children. As you will see, it must have been a great place to grow up with tons of rooms. The house sits on just over an acre and does not look as large as it is on the inside...it is a real fooler. This home has not been placed on the market yet...so if you are interested, please leave your name and phone number with John at the cashier desk and I will give it to the executor of the estate. It has not been listed yet and you will be the first to see it. No real estate people or rehabbers have been in there! It is very large and in excellent condition. There is a charming old French fireplace or stove in brown and white enamel in the lower level, Vintage Brass Sconces with Porcelain Flowers are in the dining room on each side of the fireplace, a set of Dresden Cups which are quite old and decorative with cupids are in there too, LOTS of Vintage clothing (think men’s madras pants as well as women’s items- think 9 children plus dapper parents! Think prom!) Vintage Toys, Great Ephemera, Glassware, Bar items, Tools, Garage items, and tons of collectibles....to many to mention. I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
